Some people like to face challenges or problems and enjoy solving them. Being a R&D company, we are one of those people.
We had an opportunity recently to face a challenge. We work as a contract research organization (CRO). Recently, a client provided us with a topical formulation without any label. We just knew the indication of the formulation. The client had worked with two CROs prior to us for reverse engineering. They could not determine the formulation. They could not detect any active in their analyses. It was a tough nut to crack. We knew that we had to think out-of-the-box. Luckily, our thought process led us to find the actives and excipients in the formulation. We were pleased with the outcome and so also our client. But this project was like taking an examination, tensed till you complete it!
